POP-A-SHOT
A welded arcade basketball game. Using steel tubing, I crafted the main structure, ensuring it was sturdy enough to withstand the repeated action of gameplay. Each joint was meticulously welded to enhance the durability of the frame. I paid special attention to the angles and alignment, critical for ensuring the game would function properly.
For the backboard, I chose plexiglass for its clarity and strength, allowing players to see the score display without obstruction. I cut and polished it to fit snugly into the frame. The hoop was welded to the proper height, adhering to regulations for arcade games, and I added a net to enhance the authentic look.
The electronic components were integrated next. I installed sensors to register successful shots and connected them to a scoring system. This involved some wiring work, ensuring connections were secure and properly insulated. Finally, I painted the frame with a vibrant color scheme, giving the game an inviting appearance.
After assembling all parts, I tested the game thoroughly to ensure the mechanics and sensors worked seamlessly. The result was a welded arcade basketball game that not only looked appealing but also provided hours of fun.
